Red Cross Real Hero
Dr. Kamal Thapar was recently awarded a Red Cross Real Heroes award by the Chippewa Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross. Dr. Thapar was selected in the category of "Health Care Hero" for his extraordinary and courageous acts of care and kindness to save the life of a young South Korean student, Haesung Won, after she collapsed with a deadly blood clot in her brain.
